Registering with the University of Cambridge Holiday Playscheme (UCHP)

Creating an Online Account

UCHP operates its registration and bookings using an online booking system, Magicbooking. This system gives you access to your account 24/7, so you are able to book sessions and make payments at a time that suits you.

To create your account, please navigate to The University of Cambridge Holiday Playscheme and click the button “Don’t have an account? Create one here”.

If you need any support you can use the Help? section on the top right hand-side of the website and follow the process described in the relevant sections. It takes approximately 5 to 10 minutes to create your account. 

Registration

Once you have registered with Magicbooking, you will need to validate your account by using the link in your validation email.

After logging in, you will need to add your child(ren) and complete their important information before you are able to make a booking. This includes their date of birth, school, spoken languages and a list of consents that you will either agree or disagree to. You must add at least two emergency contacts to your child(ren)'s accounts and add the names of all adults that will be responsible for collecting them from UCHP.

Booking Sessions

Playscheme sessions will be available to book approximately eight weeks before the school holiday begins. Parents will be informed via email when the booking period will open and close and of any other important information relating to that holiday.

The booking period will last between 4 – 6 weeks and parents should use this opportunity to book sessions on the Magicbooking “activity”. Any sessions booked after the closing date will be subject to a £2.50 administration fee, per child per session.
